QPR High Performance Cold Mix
Potholes
QPR High Performance Cold Mix can be used to patch any pothole. For most patches, simply placing QPR High Performance Cold Mix Asphalt in the pothole and compacting with a shovel, hand tamp, or vehicle tire will suffice. It is important to clean the pothole of any debris in order to allow the material to properly adhere to the surface. If the pothole is full of water, QPR cold mix can be placed without removing the water due to its proprietary water-repelling additive.
Utility Cuts
QPR High Performance Cold Mix is currently being used to repair utility cuts all over North America. With that said, it is important to remember that with any material, optimal placement of a well compacted, solid base is critical in order to avoid trench failure. Assuming a solid base, simply install the material in 2 inch or 50 mm increments.
Water Valves and Drains
QPR High Performance Cold Mix can also be used to repair damaged asphalt around water valves and drains. Adequate compaction is critical for the performance of the repair.
Rail Industry
Railroad Crossings
QPR High Performance Permanent Pavement Repair is an ideal solution for Rail Crossings to ensure PERMANENT pavement repair. QPR Permanent Pavement Repair also contains a proprietary water-repelling additive, which means it can be installed in the rain or used in wet conditions without the need to remove the water and the material is certified to be VOC free, with zero toxicity for surface water runoff.
Railroad Sidings
Siding work is tough work. When rap or ballast don’t provide the proper solution, QPR does. QPR can be laid, and then wheel rolled to provide sturdy and sustainable egress to your equipment, supplies, and the track. Bulk QPR can be delivered to any site, and provide stable and secure access for your equipment and supplies, as well as provide a stable asphalt pad for storage and work space. QPR is permanent, and will serve each site for years to come. If, however, your job is temporary, and you choose to leave a site unencumbered, QPR is easily removed with a loader bucket, or backhoe.
